WHY JOIN
When you join, you
become a member of a community of hikers, and a direct supporter of local hiking trails. As a member of this community of hikers you will meet new people to hike and share the outdoors with. Through your participation, you can influence the type and number of organized hikes offered locally.  Through your membership, you help fund the material, equipment and services required to maintain the approximately 240 kilometres of the Grand Valley Trail Association footpaths.

In addition, the GVTA membership allows you to enjoy multiple benefits, such as:

  • Invitation-only events at the Columbia Employee Store in London, several times a year
  • Invitation to a GVTA Members' Night at MEC in Kitchener, typically annually with a 15% discount
  • The possibility of getting access to Elora Gorge, through a special agreement with the GRCA. This requires a free Elora Gorge sticker which be obtained on-demand from our store.

Membership fees

Members can choose to purchase an annual membership or a lifetime membership. The annual membership runs from the day you renew your membership.

Membership fees (memberships are tax deductible)
          Annual membership*: $30
          Lifetime membership: $600

* Annual membership may cover more than one member of a household.

How to join

Join or renew online

This option enables you to become a member or renew your membership by filling the application online. You will have multiple options to pay. The most common method is to pay by credit card. By default the subscription renews automatically every year, but you can stop recurring payments at any time from your member profile (the GVTA does not store your credit card information; it is stored only by our payment processor). If you prefer not to pay by credit card, you can also pay by cheque, or by Interac e-Transfer (follow instructions in the last step of the application).
