THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS
The work of the GVTA is made possible thanks to membership fees, the generous time of our volunteers, donations from our corporate sponsors, and individual donations. Consider supporting us with a donation!
The Grand Valley Trails Association is honoured to have the support of several regional sponsors and donors. If your organization would like to support hiking trails within Ontario's Grand River watershed in Southwestern Ontario, please email us at treasurer@gvta.on.ca.
| Volunteers of the Grand Valley Trail Association regularly build footbridges and boardwalks along the trails, and require lumber and other supplies to do that. We went to our local RONA store in Brantford where the staff very kindly cut the timbers into the finished lengths at no cost. The staff realized we are a volunteer organization, and suggested we get a VIP account. They helped set up this account and now our club gets a discount on all nuts, bolts, lumber and other supplies. It sure makes our job easier shopping RONA. --Tony Kelly, Trail Director, Carolinian Crest section |
We are grateful for the support given from the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA), which manages water and other natural resources within the Grand River watershed. The GRCA’s mission is to reduce flood risk, support a healthy ecosystem, and connect people with nature. A significant portion of the Grand Valley Trail runs through lands owned and operated by the GRCA, including sections within the picturesque Elora Gorge Conservation Area. |
![]() | 100 Women Who Care is a philanthropic movement in which local women each donate up to $100 to a selected local charity. Together, these contributions create a significant fund to support organizations in their community. The Haldimand chapter of 100 Women Who Care was founded in 2016. The GVTA is fortunate to receive a generous grant for 2026 from the Haldimand chapter. |
