About the hike: Starting at Doon Valley Golf course we connect with the Walter Bean Trail along the scenic Grand River. Crossing the river on the pedestrian bridge we walk on lands restored, together with Indigenous peoples, in the last few years. Then we will climb the gradual hill to Pioneer Tower and take in the scenery that attracted the first settlers to this area before returning to the golf course. No public washrooms are available and most of the trail is not maintained in the winter.
