About the hike: This walk is beginner friendly! The Moffat Creek Trail is an easy strolling trail that follows natural green space through the Galt neighbourhood in Cambridge. We will walk in nature from the Duncan McIntosh Community Centre and arena to Dundas Street, following Moffat Creek, before turning back at Dundas Street and returning to the Duncan McIntosh Community Centre parking lot. Most of the trail is in urban park or forested areas. The trail is wide, generally flat with a few gentle inclines and there will be some road walking and street crossings along the way. There are public washrooms in the Duncan McIntosh arena. Most of the trail is not maintained during winter conditions and there may be residual snow, ice and/or melt water.
