About hike: Starting at the picnic shelter we walk along the Huron and Woodland trails as we admire this unique natural gem of the City of Kitchener. This approximately 5 km loop has a little bit of everything: forest, pond, meadow with an awesome variety of birds!

She has participated in the Guelph Walking Pilgrimage for many years and plans to walk the Camino one day. With GVTA, Eva leads short urban hikes (around 5 km) on Tuesdays, exploring local natural areas.
Where: Huron Natural Area, 801 Trillium Drive, City of Kitchener Length: 5 km Category: Loop Pace and duration: Moderate, 3 - 4 km/hr. About 1.5 hours. Hike level: 1 (easy) Well-defined, wide, flat trail with a few gentle inclines and many exposed roots. Please wear appropriate footwear..
Parking and departure: Meet at 9:50 am at Huron Natural Area, 801 Trillium Drive, City of Kitchener (GPS 43.398188, -80.482233). The hike will start at 10:00 am sharp.
